Donaghadee Baptist Church Missionary Policy:
In obedience to the great commission we seek to support the work of the Gospel throughout the world. We endeavour to do that by our support for the following Missionary Societies
1. As Baptists and as part of the Association of Baptist Churches in Ireland our main missionary support is the work of Baptist Missions who work in Ireland, Peru, Spain and France. EMF is the other ‘anchor’ missionary society of our church with their Ireland representative Mike Grant being an Elder in our local church. Therefore these two Missions are primary focus of our missionary prayer and financial support.
2. In accordance with the Scriptural mandate of the Gospel to the ‘Jew first’, we support the Missionary society, ‘Christian Witness to Israel’ (CWI) as part of our church missionary policy. CWI have an annual focus on a missionary prayer meeting night and be supported by annual financial contributions and by regular prayer by the church.
3. To give our missionary vision a ‘wider-world’ dimension we also support the Middle East Reformed Fellowship (MERF) and Open Doors on an alternate year basis and support accordingly.
